Before you plan
Scottsdale is one of the most popular bachelorette destinations in the Southwest, especially from late winter through spring. Popular weekends fill early, so settle dates and headcount first, then book the house and the dinner reservations.
Trailstead homes are residential lodging for your group. Each home's house rules, guest limit and visitor rules apply, and the homes are not event venues — plan any larger party at a venue in town.
Day 1: arrive and settle in
Phoenix Sky Harbor is the main airport for most groups. Stagger arrivals with a pool afternoon at the house, then one reserved dinner — large tables in Scottsdale go quickly on weekends.
Day 2: sunrise hike and a night out
Start early with a desert hike — Pinnacle Peak Park and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve are popular choices. Go at first light, carry plenty of water and check heat advisories, especially from late spring onward.
Rest at the pool in the afternoon, then head to Old Town for dinner and the entertainment district. Use ride-share or a designated driver. Our Old Town Scottsdale guide explains how the districts fit together.
Day 3: brunch, spa or golf
Keep the last day slow. Scottsdale has many resort spas and golf courses; book spa appointments and tee times in advance. A low-key final evening at the house — games, the hot tub and takeout — is often the group's favorite.
Where to stay for a bachelorette weekend
A private home keeps everyone together and gives you a pool for the daytime. The Scottsdale Social's 15+ games suit groups who want evenings in; The Sunkiss's sport court suits groups who like pickleball.
The Sunkiss and The Scottsdale Social each have five bedrooms, a private pool, a hot tub and a putting green. The Sunkiss adds a sport court set up for pickleball and basketball; The Scottsdale Social adds 15+ indoor games and lawn games. Guest limits, dates and the full stay total are confirmed on each home's own booking page.
