Scottsdale Vacation Home with a Private Pickleball Court | The Sunkiss

The Sunkiss is a Scottsdale vacation home with its own on-site pickleball court, and this video shows how the backyard is set up for a group that wants to play. Alongside the sport court there is a private pool with optional pool heat, a hot tub, a putting green and yard games, so the day can move from a match to the water without anyone getting in a car. Inside, four king bedrooms and a bunk room with two full-over-full bunks sleep up to 16 guests across five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Pool heat is optional rather than included, so confirm its current terms and notice period, along with your dates, on The Sunkiss's own booking page before you plan the trip around it.

How a group of 16 splits the rooms

The Sunkiss has five bedrooms, eight beds and three bathrooms. Four bedrooms each have a king, which suits four couples or four pairs of friends. The fifth is a bunk room with two full-over-full bunks, which suits children, teenagers or friends who don't mind sharing. The maximum is 16 guests overnight.

A day at The Sunkiss

The backyard is the plan for most groups:

  • Morning: pickleball or basketball on the sport court before it gets hot.
  • Midday: the private pool — pool heat is optional, so confirm terms on the booking page.
  • Late afternoon: putting green and yard games.
  • Evening: the fire pit lounge and hot tub, or Old Town nearby for those who want to go out.

When to book

Winter and early spring are Scottsdale's peak season, with golf, spring training and event weekends, and book earliest. Fall and late spring are easier windows. Summer is hot; plan court time for early morning and keep the middle of the day for the pool. Arriving from Phoenix Sky Harbor is straightforward; check the route in Google Maps once you have the address from the booking channel.

Who The Sunkiss suits

It suits golf and pickleball groups, families and multigenerational trips, and cooler-season desert escapes. Groups who want more beds for a larger headcount can compare The Scottsdale Social, which sleeps up to 18, on the compare page. The setting

Scottsdale, Arizona

In Scottsdale, Arizona, near Old Town and within reach of the metro's courses and courts.

Scottsdale works because the days are simple to plan. Mornings are for courts and courses, afternoons belong to the pool, and evenings stay warm long enough to eat outside. It is a short drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor, which makes it realistic for a group flying in from several cities on the same day — and close enough that Phoenix-area locals book these houses as a staycation, with the pool, the court and the games as the whole plan. In the cooler months the same homes suit longer stays: snowbirds down from Canada and the northern states, and visitors travelling from further afield.
