Groups and families who want a whole house in the Flathead Lake area, with space to spend time together after skiing.

These are lake-area homes, not slopeside condos.

Whitefish Mountain Resort's opening day is typically in early December; check skiwhitefish.com for the current date. Plan ski outings conditions permitting.

A second mountain: Blacktail

Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is in Lakeside. Check current operating dates and conditions before planning a ski day.

Christmas and New Year's ski weeks

The Tamarack has Dec 27 – Jan 2 open, and every December night is open at The Evergreen.

These winter 2026–27 windows were confirmed October 6, 2026. Availability can change; check each home's calendar before making plans.

Whitefish Winter Carnival

The 2027 Whitefish Winter Carnival is February 5–7, 2027 (Whitefish Pilot). Check the current event program before you go.
