The short answer
A three-day Scottsdale wedding-weekend plan for getting ready together, a night-before get-together and the day after by the pool.
- Day 1: arrive, settle in and hold the night-before get-together at its own venue.
- Day 2: get ready together at the home, then leave for the ceremony and reception venues.
- Day 3: gather for a slow morning and time by the pool.
- Book group meals early and plan ride-share for each offsite gathering.
- The homes are places to stay together, not event venues; celebrations happen at their own venues.

Before you plan
Settle the wedding schedule and headcount first, then book lodging and group meals around the ceremony and reception plans.
Trailstead homes are residential lodging for your group. They are places to stay and get ready together, not event venues. Each home's house rules, guest limit and visitor rules apply, and every celebration happens at its own venue.
Day 1: arrive and gather before the wedding
Phoenix Sky Harbor is the main airport for most groups. Stagger arrivals, settle into the home and plan the night-before get-together at its own reserved venue.
Day 2: get ready together
Use the shared spaces to get ready together, then leave for the ceremony and reception at their own venues. Plan transportation in advance and follow the home's visitor and gathering rules throughout the stay.
Day 3: the day after by the pool
Keep the day after unhurried: a slow morning, time by the pool and a simple meal for the overnight group before departures begin.
